SME credit scoring
across the 8 UEMOA countries
Benin, Burkina Faso, Côte d’Ivoire, Guinea-Bissau, Mali, Niger, Senegal and Togo share one central bank, one currency and one instant payment system. SCORE360 builds on that common base and respects each country’s own rules.
One monetary framework, one scoring model
For a lender, the Union offers rare common ground: shared prudential rules and shared infrastructure. Federated Learning makes the most of it. Each institution trains the model in-house, only encrypted parameters are aggregated, and data stays within the UEMOA region.
One central bank, the BCEAO
The BCEAO is headquartered in Dakar and has a National Directorate in each of the eight states. Banks and decentralised financial systems across the Union fall under one regulatory framework.

One currency, the CFA franc
All eight countries share the CFA franc issued by the BCEAO. A single scoring model can therefore work in one currency, from Abidjan to Niamey.

Shared instant payments: PI-SPI
Officially launched in Dakar on 30 September 2025, PI-SPI links banks, e-money issuers and MFIs across the eight countries. SCORE360 receives these flows through its partner fintechs and aggregators.
A shared credit bureau framework
The uniform law on credit information bureaus was adopted in 2013. Creditinfo-VoLo, licensed by the BCEAO, has operated across all eight states since 1 February 2016. SCORE360 complements it.
